| JK, I'm a big fan of your playing and sound. I was hoping that you could fill me in on your setup. It seems that you have found a way to get a great modern, but natural sound out of the guitar. Thanks so much for your time. JM |

First of all, thanks for supporting the tunes. Not sure which CD you have, so I can't pinpoint the setup. Lately, my main amp setup is a modified fender blackface princeton(with a 12" EV and 6l6's) . My baby is an es-175. She's a bitch to play but I love the sound. I use Gibson strings (.012-.052). For picks, I use D'andrea pro-plecs for their warm, but clear tone. As far as effects, It's usually just an alesis nanoverb and a boss delay pedal. Sometimes I use a Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive for distortion. JK |
